Day of Sun to Be Celebrated in Syria

| Pyongyang, March 15 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee of the Socialist Unionist Party of Syria was inaugurated on Mar. 6 to mark the Day of the Sun, the birthday of President Kim Il Sung. Its Deputy General Secretary Adnan Ismail was elected chairman of the committee. The committee decided to organize diverse political and cultural events on the Day of the Sun, the most auspicious holiday common to mankind. |
