Pyongyang, March 15 (KCNA) -- There took place a solidarity rally in Benin on Mar. 7 in support of the statement of the spokesman for the Supreme Command of the Korean People's Army. The statement was read out at the rally. Then followed speeches. Hessou Kohovi, chairman of the Benin-Korea Amicable Association "Long Live Kim Jong Il, Supreme Leader" and chairman of the Benin National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, said: It is the unshakable stand and the mode of counteraction of the army and people of the DPRK to counter enemies coming in attack with a dagger with a sword, a rifle with an artillery piece and nukes with precision nuclear strike means of Korean style more powerful than them. Pascal Zouncheme, chief of the Benin Group for the Study of Kimilsungism and Kimjongilism and rector of the Cotonou Institute of Journalism of Benin, denounced Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercises by the U.S. and its allies as dangerous criminal acts that endanger the peace on the Korean Peninsula and in Northeast Asia and, furthermore, in the rest of the world. The hostile forces are behaving recklessly against the DPRK over its legitimate satellite launch and underground nuclear test for self-defence, he said. The army and people of the DPRK, single-mindedly united around the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un, will not miss the golden chance but win a victory in the confrontation with the U.S. and a great war for national reunification, he concluded. At the end of the meeting they watched Korean film "Reply of the DPRK". |
