Bellicose Forces' Policy of Confrontation with DPRK Slammed

| Pyongyang, March 15 (KCNA) -- The South Side Committee for Implementing the June 15 Joint Declaration held a press conference in Seoul on March 11, calling for defusing the danger of war and ensuring peace on the Korean Peninsula. An emergency appeal was issued at the conference. The appeal said that the situation on the peninsula is inching close to a war crisis again. The prevailing situation is attributable to the U.S. and the south Korean authorities' policy of confrontation with the DPRK, it noted, adding: There has been no discussion for concluding a peace treaty because of this policy of rejecting dialogue and negotiations and insisting on tightening "sanctions". People should not remain a passive onlooker to the reckless acts of putting their life at stake. |
