The on-going saber-rattling in south Korea is, in actuality, nuclear war drills aimed to invade the north with U.S. forces in its mainland, Japan and Hawaii and various types of latest nuclear war hardware involved, the statement said, adding:

To cope with this, the north totally nullified the Korean Armistice Agreement and the north-south non-aggression pacts, declaring an all-out action against the U.S.

The U.S. is keen to conduct "war diplomacy" against the north by staging joint war drills against it, not seeking a peaceful settlement of the issue with the north. This is an irretrievable mistake.

Koreans can never forget the past war tragedy, the statement noted, demanding the U.S. wake up from its wild dream and seek a solution in normalizing the DPRK-U.S. relations through dialogue.

The south Korean regime should immediately cease the north-targeted joint war drills, keenly aware that such war moves against compatriots are acts of treachery, the statement held.
