U.S.-S. Korea Joint Military Exercises under Fire

Pyongyang, March 17 (KCNA) -- The People for Achieving Peace and Reunification of south Korea launched the 162nd action for independent reunification and peace outside the U.S. embassy in Seoul on Mar. 12 to denounce the war exercises of the U.S. imperialists and south Korean warmongers against the north.

Speakers at the rally said that the joint military exercises Key Resolve and Foal Eagle involving huge armed forces are under way according to the operation plan aiming at "north occupation".

In particular, the U.S. offensive F-22 Stealth fighters, B-52 strategic bombers, etc. are involved in the war exercises, escalating the danger of war on the Korean Peninsula, they said.

They denounced the south Korean warmongers for advertising the alliance with the U.S. for aggression as "partnership for prosperity".

They demanded the U.S. and the south Korean warmongers stop at once the war exercises which would bring disasters to the Korean nation.
