The Left Bloc of the Austrian Trade Union Federation said in a resolution titled "Solidarity with the DPRK-instant peace talks instead of U.S. imperialist-led war exercises and illegal 'sanctions' by the UN":

The Left Bloc of the Austrian Trade Union Federation strongly denounces the Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercises being staged against the DPRK under the baton of the U.S. imperialists.

We demand the UNSC withdraw the illegal "resolution on sanctions" against the DPRK and observe the UN Charter on guaranteeing the independence and sovereignty of all states.

We urge the U.S. to stop the provocative war exercises against the DPRK at once and start the sincere negotiations for concluding a peace treaty.

The Group of Youth for the Study of Kim Jong Il Juche Idea in Vienna said:

We oppose the U.S.-south Korea joint military maneuvers being staged on the Korean Peninsula.

We reject any aggression moves against the DPRK and double-standards being applied by the UNSC over the nuclear issue.
