Organization of New Zealand Demands Replacement of AA with Peace Treaty
Pyongyang, March 19 (KCNA) -- The New Zealand-DPRK Society released a statement on March 1 to demand the conclusion of a peace treaty on the Korean Peninsula.

The statement said:

This year marks six decades since the conclusion of the Korean Armistice Agreement (AA). By this agreement, active combat actions stopped but the Korean War did not end.

The Korean War should be put to an end by replacing AA with a peace treaty.

All the Korean people in the north and the south hope for reunification.

We are convinced that the only conclusion of a peace treaty will be an important first step for reconciliation and reunification of the Korean nation.
