The Egyptian Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea on March 8 stated:

What is not understandable is that the permanent member states of the UNSC take issue with the nuclear deterrent of the DPRK for self-defence although they have huge nuclear weapons enough to exterminate humankind.

Negation of the DPRK's right to scientific and technological development is a wanton infringement on international law.

The DPRK has a legitimate right to bolster its nuclear deterrent for self-defence to cope with the invaders trampling down justice.

We condemn the UNSC's "resolution" against the DPRK which the countries threatening mankind with nuclear weapons adopted by abusing their status as permanent member states. We brand the "resolution" as a violation of international law and the height of the double-standards that does not deserve even a passing note.

The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy, the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and the British Branch of the Korean Friendship Association in a joint statement on March 9 said:

It is natural for the DPRK valuing independence to reject the UNSC's "resolution" aimed to bring down its socialist system in the DPRK and colonize it.

The "resolution" is an infringement upon the sovereignty of the DPRK and a negation of the UN Charter.

We support the unshakable determination of the DPRK to further strengthen its status as a nuclear weapons state and a country launching satellites.
