DPRK's Stance Supported by Regional, Bulgarian Organizations

Pyongyang, March 19 (KCNA) -- A regional organization and a Bulgarian organization expressed full support for the DPRK's stance for safeguarding its sovereignty. The International Alliance of Societies for the Study of the Juche Idea and Songun Policy in East European and Central Asian Regions stated as follows on Mar. 12: To cope with the heinous moves of the U.S., the DPRK declared that it would nullify the Armistice Agreement and exercise the right to preemptive nuclear strike and destroy the strongholds of the aggressors. We admit that this measure is as just as the nuclear test and fully support it. Only the DPRK's nuclear deterrence can thwart the U.S. aggression and its use of nuclear weapons. We call upon the member states of the UN to curb the U.S. moves for aggression and support the DPRK. The Bulgarian Group for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism noted in its statement on Mar. 10: We resolutely denounce the "resolution" passed by the UN Security Council under the plea of the DPRK's self-defensive nuclear test. Nuclear weapons of the DPRK are to cope with the nuclear threat by the U.S. In other words, they are meant to contain the U.S. moves for aggression and protect the peace on the Korean Peninsula and other parts in the region. Any scheme to dismantle the DPRK's nuclear deterrence by imposing "sanctions" will only prod the U.S. into igniting a new war on the Korean Peninsula. No "sanctions" can ever stop the advance of the DPRK, which is exploring space, developing nuclear technology for peaceful purposes and building an economic power. We support all the measures the DPRK has taken for safeguarding its sovereignty and ensuring peace on the Korean Peninsula and other parts in the region. |
