U.S. Attempt to Stifle DPRK Can Never Come True: Minju Joson

Pyongyang, March 19 (KCNA) -- The U.S. is chiefly to blame for the situation on the Korean Peninsula which is inching close to a war. It is a daydream for it to provoke the DPRK. Minju Joson Tuesday says this in a bylined commentary. Disclosing the deliberate moves of the U.S. to render the situation on the peninsula extremely tense and stifle the DPRK militarily, the commentary goes on: The U.S. theories of "provocation from the north" and "threat" are a product of despicable scenario to shift the blame for the tense situation on to the DPRK and knock into shape international cooperation system against it. The U.S. is tapping all means and methods including military pressure and economic sanctions to disarm the DPRK at any cost and carry out its policy of stifling the DPRK. Through the Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercises being staged under the mask of "defense" and "control", the U.S. seeks to put into practice its dangerous scenario for mounting a preemptive attack on the DPRK's nuclear deterrence for self-defence and holding control of it at one stroke. The DPRK is left with no room for other alternative as the U.S. imperialists are encroaching upon its sovereignty while threatening it with nukes. Its army and people who always have won victories with the tactics of countering the enemies' moves will answer the enemies' provocation with prompt counterstrike. It is their firm will to sweep away the stronghold of war from the earth and build a reunified, prosperous and strongest country on this land. The U.S. had better behave itself, clearly understanding their steadfast will to annihilate the enemy and their spirit to win one victory after another. |
