The foundation is aimed to train technicians and management workers needed in passenger traffic field.

Pak Thae Gun, deputy rector of the college, told KCNA:

Subjects of the college will include structural design, electronic control, manufacture and technological operation of tram cars, trolley buses and other vehicles.

The fiver-year college will be opened on April 1. As part of study-while-working educational system, it gives a glimpse of the advantages of the educational policy of the Workers' Party of Korea.
