A report was made by the chief of the kindergarten at the event to be followed by speeches of various figures including the president of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations.

The reporter and speakers said that the party, government and people of the DPRK built the kindergarten in the difficult period after the anti-U.S. resistance for national salvation came to an end in Vietnam and peace settled on it.

They noted that over the last 35 years the kindergarten has worked to contribute to developing the relations between the two countries.

They recalled that a joint art performance was given with splendor in Hanoi last year by teachers and children of the DPRK-Vietnam Friendship Kyongsang Kindergarten and the Vietnam-DPRK Friendship Kindergarten on the occasions of the birth anniversaries of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il.

They stressed that the party, government and people of Vietnam and the Vietnam-DPRK Friendship Kindergarten would make positive efforts to develop the friendly and cooperative relations provided by the leaders of the two countries.

At the event a decision on awarding the Order of DPRK Friendship 1st Class to the kindergarten was introduced and a congratulatory message in the joint name of the DPRK-Vietnam Friendship Association and the DPRK-Vietnam Friendship Kyongsang Kindergarten was conveyed.

An art performance was given by teachers and children of the kindergarten.
