Newspaper of Jordan on Korean Armistice Agreement
Pyongyang, March 21 (KCNA) -- The Jordanian newspaper Al Diyar on March 10 carried an article supporting the DPRK's stand for defending the sovereignty.

The paper said:

Why was the Korean Armistice Agreement (AA) nullified?

It was attributable to the U.S. and south Korean authorities.

The U.S. covered the whole area of south Korea with nuclear weapons and weapons of mass destruction after the Korean War.

The U.S. administration, however, goes so impudent as to talk about the "threat from the north".

The U.S. tries to rule the world in its own interests, being engaged in high-handed and arbitrary practices.

Humankind should clearly know the U.S. forces' illegal presence in south Korea and the U.S. wild ambition in the Korean Peninsula and Northeast Asia.

The DPRK declared its stand to take stronger countermeasures to cope with the UN Security Council's "resolution".

The spokesman for the DPRK Foreign Ministry in a statement clarified that the world will clearly see how the DPRK maintains its status as a nuclear weapons state and satellite launching state in reaction to the U.S. attitude of prodding the UN Security Council into cooking up the "resolution on sanctions" against the DPRK.

The DPRK has the right to defend it from the moves of the U.S. to stifle it.

Self-defence is an inviolable right which allows no bargaining. It should not be weakened nor be entrusted to other country.

It was not right for the UN Security Council to adopt the "resolution" against the DPRK.

The UNSC should not become a tool legalizing the aggression moves of the U.S.

The DPRK branded the UNSC as a stooge of the U.S.

If the U.S. sincerely hopes for peace in the world, it should scrap its nuclear weapons.

The DPRK warned that settling accounts with the U.S. needs to be done with force, not with words as it regards the jungle law as the rule of its survival.
