It was their creed that if the people wish, it is necessary to pluck even a star from the sky and bring a flower into bloom on a rock. The peerlessly great men's patriotic devotion brought joy and happiness to the people and there appeared a legendary epic on their love for the people.

Only when officials believe in the people as in Heaven, bearing in mind Kim Il Sung's and Kim Jong Il's outlook on the people, can they become true servants for the people who travel at night and carry a heavier burden on their backs than others for the improvement of the people's living standard.

It is the firm determination of the Workers' Party of Korea to respect the people and devote itself to them as it holds Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il in high esteem.

Officials should always bear in mind the party's intention and live and work in the spirit of love and trust in the people.

When they believe in the people as in Heaven and work hard for them, it is possible to radically improve the people's living standard.

Production will be reenergized and people's living standard improved only when there are more officials who keep creating something new with great ambition and ideal and more pioneers and forerunners who bring about bold innovations free from fixed framework.

Only when all officials give spurs to the work at their units with creative ingenuity and innovative view, is it possible to make the material and technological foundation for improving the people's living standard associated with the efforts made by Kim Jong Il all his life substantially pay off, and bring more benefits to the people's living.
