Reply Message to Kim Jong Un from Lao President

Pyongyang, March 21 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and first chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK, on March 19 received a reply message from Choummaly Sayasone, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and president of the Lao People's Democratic Republic.

The reply message said:

I express deep thanks to you for sending warm congratulations and best wishes to me on my 77th birthday

I am pleased that the relations of unity and cooperation between the Lao People's Democratic Republic and the DPRK based on the fraternal comradeship have steadily developed.

I hope the traditional and beautiful relations of friendship and cooperation between our two countries will grow strong from a new angle and economic relations, in particular, will develop in line with the common interests and desire of the two peoples.

I wish you good health and steady success in accomplishing your noble cause.
