The statement accused the U.S. and other hostile forces displeased with the DPRK's satellite launch for peaceful purposes of working hard to isolate and stifle the DPRK.

The successful nuclear test conducted by the DPRK was a just measure for self-defence and a great coup in the nation's history which proved that the U.S. imperialists threatening and blackmailing the independent people with a nuclear stick and resorting to high-handed and arbitrary practices should be countered with nukes, it said, adding:

Even now the U.S. and the south Korean warmongers are staging madcap large-scale Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercises.

We strongly condemn the dangerous DPRK-targeted war drills being staged by the warmongers after putting the DPRK on the list of preemptive nuclear attack.
