Protest Lodged with U.S., S. Korean Chief Executives

Pyongyang, March 21 (KCNA) -- The Autonomous Society of Korean National Culture in Partizansk, Russia and the Partizansk City Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation on March 13 sent a letter of protest to the chief executives of the U.S. and south Korea in their joint name.

The letter said that Partizansk, Maritime Territory of the Russian Federation is greatly concerned over the tension on the Korean Peninsula escalating due to the interference of the U.S. forces and the "UN Command".

It called upon all countries in the Asia-Pacific region to make persistent efforts for the reunification of the north and the south of Korea for the prosperity and stability of its people and thus contribute to ensuring peace on the Korean Peninsula.

It urged the U.S. and south Korean authorities to come out without delay for substantial actions for the reunification of Korea.
