Top Prize Goes to Kimjongilia at Int'l Flower Show
Pyongyang, March 21 (KCNA) -- The top prize went to Kimjongilia at the International Flower Show held in Ulan Bator, Mongolia from March 6 to 8.

Exhibited there were rare flowers from different countries including the DPRK, China and Mongolia.

The DPRK wing of the show drew an endless stream of visitors attracted by the beauty of immortal flower Kimjongilia.

The general manager of the Ed Gazhar Company, the sponsor of the show, said the show became more significant thanks to the display of the world's most famous flower Kimjongilia.

The executive chairman of the Kimjongilia Association of Mongolia said it is the wish to see Kimjongilia cultivated in various parts of the country.

Chairman of the association, son of O. Cherma who was an employee of the former Mongolian School of Korean War Orphans, said Kimjongilia is, indeed, a beautiful and rare flower, adding he is proud of having formed the association and built a glasshouse to make the immortal flower come into bloom on the land of Mongolia, true to his mother's behest.
