Present there were officials of the State Planning Commission, Ministry of Public Health, Ministry of Land and Environmental Conservation, Education Commission, Grand People's Study House, etc., and the representative of UNICEF here and foreign guests.

Lectures were given there under such titles as "The success achieved in the work to solve the issue of water in the DPRK", "Water and life" and "System for using clean water."

The lecturers referred to the fact that the DPRK has paid a deep attention to supplying clean water to the people and ensuring hygienic and cultured living conditions.

They called for considering the positive development and effective use of water resources as an important issue related to the future destiny of the country and nation and taking positive measures to solve the issue.
