Reply Message to Kim Jong Un from Xi Jinping

| Pyongyang, March 21 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and first chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission, received a reply message from Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, president of the People's Republic of China (PRC) and chairman of its Central Military Commission, on March 16. He in the message extended thanks to Kim Jong Un for sending him congratulations on his election as president of the PRC and chairman of its Central Military Commission, saying: China and the DPRK are friendly neighbors. Under the new situation I wish to join you in promoting the steady development of the Sino-DPRK traditional relations of friendship and cooperation and contributing to bringing earlier the prosperity of the two countries and peace and stability of the region. Availing myself of this opportunity, I wish the DPRK steady, fresh successes in all affairs of the DPRK under the leadership of the WPK headed by you. Please accept my best wishes for your country's prosperity and its people's happiness. |
