A decision on the inauguration of the preparatory committee was announced by the International Alliance of Societies for the Study of the Juche Idea and the Songun Policy in East European and Central Asian Regions.

According to it, the preparatory committee will hold meeting, photo and book exhibition and film show, conduct information activities by use of media to introduce the DPRK and map out a working plan for activities to support the Korean people in their struggle against the moves of the imperialists and their lackeys.

Mikhail Panchenko, general secretary of the above-said International Alliance, was appointed as chairman of the international preparatory committee, Dmitri Kostenko, chairman of the Russian Association for the Study of the Juche Idea, and Nikolai Polishk, chairman of the Ukrainian "Treasured Sword of Songun" Association for the Study of the Juche Idea, as executive secretaries.

The preparatory committee entrusted the implementation of the working plan to them.
