Korean People's Just Cause Favored by Political Parties, Organization of Peru, Spain

Pyongyang, March 22 (KCNA) -- Political parties and organization of Peru and Spain released statements to denounce the U.S. for its hostile policy toward the DPRK as it is staging the provocative Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercises and prodded its allies into cooking up the UN Security Council's "resolution on sanctions" against the DPRK.

The Revolutionary Socialist Party of Peru stated on March 14:

1. It resolutely denounces the U.S. provocations against the DPRK.

2. It expresses solidarity for the DPRK government and people who have turned out in the just action to shatter the U.S. moves for a new war.

3. It urges the Peruvian government to denounce the UNSC's "sanctions" against the DPRK and pressurize the U.S. to stop at once provocations against the Korean people.

4. It calls upon progressive political parties and organizations of Peru to urge its government to issue a statement in protest against the moves of the hostile forces for aggression against the DPRK.

The Communist Party of the People of Spain and the Communist Youth Collectives of Spain under the party in their joint statement on the same day said that the satellite launch and underground nuclear test conducted by the DPRK are an exercise of the legitimate right by a sovereign state.

The war maneuvers for aggression being staged by the U.S. and south Korean puppet forces are nuclear war exercises against the DPRK, the statement held.

It fully supported all the measures taken by the DPRK government to cope with the prevailing situation and extended solidarity to the Korean people in their struggle for world peace, national reunification and victory of socialism.
