The Textile Institute concentrates efforts on improving the quality of vinalon fiber and intensifying the research into functional clothes.

The Textile Machinery Institute launched a work to put textile machines on a high-speed and precision basis and the Foodstuff Institute finished preparing production processes of a processed milk factory to be built on the Sepho tableland while striving to improve the quality of drinks made of potato.

The Grain Processing Institute and the Aromatic and Cosmetic Institute set new research goals of significance in raising the people's living standard and started the work for hitting the targets.

Son Kyong Nam, director of the branch academy, told KCNA:

"Officials and scientists of the branch academy have been greatly encouraged by Marshal Kim Jong Un's historic speech.
