U.S. Moves against DPRK Denounced by Japanese Figures

Pyongyang, March 23 (KCNA) -- Japanese figures released a statement denouncing the U.S. and its allied forces for moving to stifle the DPRK. Michihiro Sasaki, representative of the Kyoto General Research Institute, said that the U.S. prodded the UN Security Council to fabricate a "resolution on sanctions" against the DPRK and escalated the tension by waging the war exercises together with the south Korean puppet forces, adding: The U.S. moves are absolutely intolerable. The tension has mounted because the UNSC backed the U.S.-proposed "resolution" against the DPRK over its launch of the satellite for peaceful purposes. It is the height of double standards that the permanent member nations of the UNSC pulled up the DPRK over the satellite launch even though they made satellite launches and nuclear tests many times. This amounts to the denial of the right to existence and the sovereignty of the DPRK and the violation of the UN Charter. It is the just right of the DPRK to bolster up the nuclear deterrent to cope with the aggression moves of the U.S. and its allies. The final victory is in store for the Korean people. Sadao Shibano, representative of the Society for the Study of World Situation, laid bare the aggressive nature of the Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercises. If the U.S. and its allies continue the moves for stifling the DPRK, that will bring the second Korean War. They should immediately stop the aggression moves against the DPRK. Let us not allow the outbreak of a nuclear war on the Korean Peninsula! The option for the U.S. is to conclude a peace treaty with the DPRK. |
