Day of Sun to Be Celebrated in Bangladesh

| Pyongyang, March 23 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee of Bangladesh for celebrating the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung (the Day of the Sun) was formed in Dakha on Mar. 18 under the co-sponsorship of the Workers' Party of Bangladesh, the Bangladesh National Socialist Party, the Bangladesh People's League and the Bangladesh-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Committee. MD. Harun-Ar-Rashid, chairman of the friendship and solidarity committee, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The preparatory committee decided to hold diverse political and cultural events including meeting, seminar, film show and photo exhibition to laud the immortal exploits of the President on the occasion of the Day of the Sun. |
