KCNA Commentary Slams Japanese Politicians' Coarse Invectives against DPRK
|

Pyongyang, March 23 (KCNA) -- The Japanese reactionaries are stepping up the racket for confrontation with the DPRK. The chief Cabinet secretary at a press conference vowed to "tighten siege to the DPRK" and the chairman of the Joint Staff Council of the "Self-Defense Forces" cried out for "maintaining a high alert" while talking about the "violation of UN Security Council's resolution". This is an outcry of those who have lost reasoning power in the face of the DPRK's declaration of its strong will to take the toughest counteraction. This is aimed to improve their image by taking the advantage of the U.S. hostile policy toward the DPRK and step up the moves for stifling it. This rhetoric is timed to coincide with the submission to the U.S. Senate of an "annual report" which portrayed the DPRK's exercise of its right to self-defence as a "provocation" and "threat". The Japanese reactionaries have persisted in the racket for confrontation with the DPRK, pursuant to the U.S. policy of hostility toward it. The Japanese conservative politicians stoop to any infamy to please their master and improve their image, staking their fate on escalating confrontation with the DPRK. Their rhetoric is nothing but a hysteric fit of mentally deranged and die-hard sycophants. Irony is that Japanese Prime Minister Abe is taking the lead. He unhesitatingly made such bluff that "switchover in policy should be made" and "U.S. should not be made fun of". He even talked about "collapse". Such invectives are too coarse to be made by the head of state. His remarks damage Japan's face which looks to becoming a "normal state". At a time when the DPRK's exercise of its right to self-defence is winning support from many countries, the head of a country that neighbors the DPRK openly disclosed his hostility. This proves his deep awareness of confrontation with the DPRK and his base personality. Absolutely ludicrous are Abe's remarks about "collapse" and "policy switchover". The measures for self-defence taken by the DPRK were a just counteraction to the illegal high-handed acts of the U.S. and UN Security Council over its legitimate right to satellite launch and nuclear test. A man who professes the head of a country is sure to know this and if he does not know, skepticism grows over his qualifications. It is illogical for Japan to say this or that about the DPRK's measure for self-defence. Japan now seeks to make its blood-stained past repeat itself and step up the moves for turning the country into a military giant as evidenced by the launch of a spy satellite. This is an act of encroaching upon the DPRK's sovereignty. It is tragic that Japan is ruled by such politically half-witted as Abe who is unable to discern the truth and does not have elementary common sense as politician. The army and people of the DPRK will as in the past never pardon those who let loose the whole gamut of vituperation and coarse invectives insulting the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK and finding fault with its measure for defending sovereignty. If Abe and other Japanese politicians continue wagging their tongues, thinking that they can stay outside the firing range of the DPRK, that will precipitate their destruction. |
