Pyongyang Secondary School Graduates Meet for Poem Reciting, Concert
Pyongyang, March 23 (KCNA) -- Graduates from secondary schools in Pyongyang who had volunteered to serve at forefront posts met at the Youth Park Open-air Theater from March 19 to 23 for poem reciting and concert "Country and youth."

The venue was crowded with students determined to turn out in the sacred war for defending the country and wipe out the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet forces who are bringing the dark clouds of a nuclear war to hang over the country.

Agitation based on a true story and chorus "Song of National Defense" was followed by story telling by war veterans and discharged soldiers. They deeply touched the graduates.

The graduates sang the song of advance for victory, which the heroes sang in the rigorous days of war and which will reverberate far and wide on this land through generations, hardening their resolution to give steady continuity to the ever-victorious tradition.

In duet and chorus "For My Only Country" the graduates impressively represented the unshakable faith and will of the younger generation to firmly protect the country at the cost of their lives just as Hero Ri Su Bok did. He made a breakthrough in his unit's charge by silencing the enemy pillbox with his body during the Fatherland Liberation War.

Poems and songs replete with ardent patriotism and passion of youth resounded through in succession and the graduates evinced their resolution.

The volunteers including the graduates from Kim Ju Hyok Secondary School and Ri Chol Min Secondary School pledged to become self-blasting fighters and human bombs throwing themselves to blow up the stronghold of the enemy before any others.
