The bulletin of the Paektusan Czech-Korean Friendship Association carried an article titled "Time-honored history, brilliant culture and peculiar folk custom". The park has been built in the area of Mt. Taesong of the DPRK in a peculiar way, it said, referring in detail to the composition of the park.

The park fully shows how much the Korean people value their long history and brilliant culture, it noted.

The German Internet website Korean Information carried an article and photos introducing the park under the title "Pyongyang Folklore Park".

The article said: The park vividly portrays the five thousand year-long history, culture and tradition of Korea. Models of big edifices including the Arch of Triumph, the Party Founding Memorial Tower, the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Memorial Tower and the Tower of the Juche Idea help know well about the history of modern Korea.

The website of the Russian Group for Solidarity with the DPRK and a Russian internet newspaper and internet magazines carried articles and photos introducing the park.
