Ri Jong Man, managing director of the Standing Council of the Korean Federation of Workers in Commerce in Japan, said that the appeal made by the DFRK Central Committee heightened enthusiasm and patriotism of workers in commerce in Japan as it called for turning out in an all-out action for defending the nation's dignity and sovereignty.

The patriotic war for reunification to defend the nation's dignity and sovereignty is a just struggle to defend the community of Koreans in Japan, he said, adding that all the workers in commerce in Japan will turn out in the all-out nationwide patriotic sacred war to resolutely shatter the U.S. and its satellite forces' racket for a war of aggression.

Ri Tong Je, chairman of the Association of Koreans in Japan for Peaceful Reunification, pointed out that a touch-and-go situation prevailing on the Korean Peninsula was created as the U.S. took issue with the DPRK's satellite launch in disregard of the legitimate right to satellite launch specified in international law and prodded the UN Security Council into slapping the DPRK with tightened "sanctions".

The on-going all-out action is a showdown between the entire Korean nation in their efforts to defend its dignity and sovereignty and the U.S., he said.

All Koreans are now out in the struggle for peace against war in order to reduce the tension on the Korean Peninsula, he concluded.
