Pyongyang, March 26 (KCNA) -- A demonstration denouncing the U.S. and its allies' moves to stifle the DPRK took place outside the U.S. embassy in London on March 19. Present there were personages of the New Communist Party of Britain, the British Association for the Study of Songun Policy, the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and other political parties and organizations and masses. Speeches were made before the demonstration. Dermot Hudson, chairman of the British Association for the Study of Songun Policy, said that Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercises were drills for provoking a new war of aggression on the Korean Peninsula from A to Z. He branded the UN Security Council as a servant of the U.S. as it fabricated another anti-DPRK "resolution on sanctions", pulling it up over the nuclear test for self-defence. Andy Brooks, general secretary of the Central Committee of the New Communist Party of Britain, said that the U.S. was making desperate efforts to perpetuate the division of the Korean Peninsula, while egging the south Korean authorities on to anti-DPRK moves. The demonstrators chanted slogans "Victory to Korean people", "No sanctions and war", "Yankees, go home" and "Korea is one" holding the DPRK flags and placards reading "No UNSC resolution on sanctions". |
