The construction of the shop with processes ranging from preparation and weaving to finishing will make it possible to produce and supply quality velvet cloth and furnishing fabrics of good designs to the people.

An inaugural ceremony took place on Tuesday.

Present there were Vice-Premier Ri Mu Yong, Ri Man Gon, chief secretary of the North Phyongan Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned and employees of the mill.
