It is a great art festival which was provided by leader Kim Jong Il, reflecting the unanimous desire of the people to hold Kim Il Sung in high esteem forever and eternally glorify the exploits he performed for the era and humankind.

Divided into different categories, the festival will be held in the form of group, individual and joint performances at theatres, concert halls and cultural houses in Pyongyang from April 11 to 18.

The festival will bring together members of art organizations, art squads and itinerant art groups of Pyongyang and local areas, people of various social strata and artistes of overseas Koreans.
