The statement said that these days media of the West aired distorted reports about the situation on the Korean Peninsula vociferating about the DPRK's "nuclear threat" while turning blind eyes to the U.S. imperialists' anti-DPRK campaign for aggression.

Everyone keeps mum about the U.S.-south Korea large-scale joint military exercises, the statement said, and went on:

The DPRK proposed the U.S. to conclude a peace treaty long ago, but the U.S. denied it and stationed its armed forces for aggression in south Korea.

The U.S. has introduced a lot of nukes into south Korea and bolstered up arms and equipment ceaselessly.

From long ago, the DPRK has proposed denuclearizing the Korean Peninsula. However, the U.S. has sought unilateral disarmament of the DPRK only.

The DPRK's access to nuclear weapons assumes the mission of deterring a war in the face of the aggression moves of the imperialists as proved by the present situation.

We urge the U.S. to withdraw its armed forces for aggression including nukes from south Korea and conclude a peace treaty with the DPRK.

A fair international order should be established and international organizations should not be used as a tool representing the stand of the imperialists.

Media of the West should not distort the truth and describe the DPRK as a "dangerous state".
