Their propaganda is sheer sophism. What is ridiculous is that they are behaving ridiculously though they do not have even the face to talk about "human rights."

Rodong Sinmun Wednesday observes in a bylined article in this regard: By origin, the Japanese reactionaries do not have any qualification to say anything about "human rights" in the international arena. They have neither admitted nor apologized nor paid any reparation for their crimes up to this date.

Citing facts to prove the crimes committed by Japan against humanity, the article goes on:

The Korean people still remember the monstrous crimes committed by the Japanese imperialists after illegally occupying Korea by force of arms despite the lapse of so many years.

Japan, however, has neither apologized nor apologized for those hideous crimes against humanity. Moreover, it has made desperate efforts to dodge its state responsibility for them. This brings into bolder relief the despicable nature and moral vulgarity of Japan.

With nothing can Japan cover up the crimes committed by the Japanese imperialists against the Korean people or write them off.

Japan should opt for settling its past, bearing this in mind.

The settlement of its past crimes is not an issue that allows its shunning of their redemption.

It is a legal and moral duty it assumed before the times and history.

Japan should face up to the situation, admit the above-said crimes and take a bold action to settle its inglorious past.
