South Hwanghae Province set the goal to plant tens of millions of trees this spring and is registering successes.

Jaeryong and Jangyon counties proved successful in producing saplings and digging out holes, while planting lots of trees every day.

Unryul and Sinchon counties succeeded in digging lots of holes in last autumn through a mass movement. They are planting trees as required by technological norms to raise the rate of rooting.

Officials and other people and schoolchildren in North Hwanghae Province are also registering successes in tree planting.

Kumchon County planted at least 160,000 trees in recent three days.

Sohung and Singye counties are also overfulfiling their daily plans for tree planting.

Signal successes in tree planting were reported from North Phyongan Province. People in Cholsan County planted lots of trees on either side of major roads extending tens of kilometers and nearby mountains. They created tens of hectares of forests of pine-nut, larch and three-leaves pine trees.

People in Kangwon Province are also planting trees of good species.
