The statement said:

The UN Security Council, with the U.S. as a main player, cooked up another "resolution on sanctions" against the DPRK over its third underground nuclear test.

The DPRK's legitimate satellite launch for peaceful purposes and nuclear test for self-defence dealt a heavy blow at the U.S. and its allies.

The Socialist Party of Benin vehemently condemns and totally rejects the anti-DPRK "resolution on sanctions", a product of the U.S. hostile policy towards the DPRK.

The more desperate efforts the hostile forces make to suffocate the Korean people and stifle socialist Korea, the stronger support and solidarity progressive humankind including the members of the Socialist Party of Benin voice for the DPRK in struggle.

We extend invariable solidarity to the just cause of the Korean people for a final victory.
