Displayed at the venue were photos on the exploits of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and the dear respected Kim Jong Un.

Speeches were made at the ceremony.

Riyad Chaloub, chairman of the Guinean Kimilsungia-Kimjongilia Association, referred to the details of the birth of Kimilsungia and its rapid spread to many countries, adding:

After looking round a Kimilsungia exhibition held in Pyongyang, I was struck with admiration at the world people's respect for Kim Il Sung.

We will make positive efforts to deeply study the great Juche idea and widely spread Kimilsungia in Guinea, regarding it as our duty to develop the friendly relations with the DPRK.

The director of the botanical garden said:

I am glad to be able to cultivate immortal flower Kimilsungia in our botanical garden.

Our garden will play a role of a pioneer in cultivating Kimilsungias to bring them into full bloom across Guinea.

We will hold a Kimilsungia exhibition on the occasion of the Day of the Sun to make the feats and greatness of Kim Il Sung go down through generations in Guinea.

Dozens of potted Kimilsungias were conveyed to officials of the botanical garden at the ceremony.
