The Bulgaria-Korea Friendship Association said in a statement on March 21 that the U.S. is behind the tension mounting on the Korean Peninsula as it prodded the UN Security Council into fabricating the unreasonable "resolution on sanctions" aimed to stifle the DPRK.

It condemned the U.S. and its satellite forces for staging the mad-cap Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercises, nuclear war drills against the DPRK, adding:

The heroic Korean people turned out in an all-out action for defending the country's sovereignty and dignity to cope with the vicious hostile moves of the U.S. and its allies against the DPRK.

We extend full support and solidarity to the Korean people's struggle for frustrating the provocations of the hostile forces and defending socialism.

The U.S. and its allies should immediately halt their anti-DPRK provocations and hostile moves.

The Youth Communists' Union of Czechoslovakia in its statement on March 25 condemned the reckless joint war drills being carried out by the U.S. and south Korean puppet authorities.

The statement said: The Korean people under the wise leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea have the right to safeguard all the gains they achieved in the anti-imperialist, anti-U.S. struggle.

We call for international solidarity with the Korean people's struggle and oppose all kinds of provocations against them.
