S. Korean Authorities Urged to Settle Issue of Ssangyong Motors

| Pyongyang, March 29 (KCNA) -- More than 800 religionists of 15 parishes of the south Korean Catholic held a meeting in Phyongthaek, Kyonggi Province on March 25, demanding the authorities settle the issue of Ssangyong Motors as early as possible. The unreasonable lay-off in the motors is prevailing in whole society, they deplored. The settlement of the issue means protecting the rights to labor and existence, they said, urging the authorities to comply with the demand of the dismissed workers staging a sit-in strike on dangerous transmission towers. They evinced their will to fight till the demands of those workers are met. |
