Present there were Kim Yong Nam, Choe Yong Rim, Kim Ki Nam, Choe Thae Bok, Pak To Chun, Kim Yong Chun, Yang Hyong Sop, Kang Sok Ju, Kim Yang Gon, Kwak Pom Gi, Mun Kyong Dok, Ro Tu Chol, officials of party and power organs, social organizations, ministries and national institutions, fields of science, education, literature and the art, public health, media, service personnel of the KPA and Korean People's Internal Security Forces, officials and other people of institutions, industrial establishments and farms at all levels and teachers and students of universities and colleges in Pyongyang.

Present there on invitation were overseas Koreans, the chief of the Pyongyang mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front, diplomatic envoys and military attaches here and other foreign guests.

Mun Kyong Dok, alternate member of the Political Bureau and secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea who is also chief secretary of the Pyongyang City Committee of the WPK, read out the statement of the KPA Supreme Command.

Then the floor was taken by KPA officer Kwon Yong Chol on behalf of the KPA, Kim Hyok Nam, worker of the Pyongyang 326 Electric Wire Factory, on behalf of the Worker-Peasant Red Guards, Kim Ju Il, student of Kumsong Secondary School No. 1, on behalf of the Young Red Guards and Rim Il Gwang, student of Kim Il Sung University, on behalf of discharged soldiers.

The speakers said that the service personnel and people are all out in a final decisive battle against provocateurs, aggressors, fully determined to take a thousand-fold revenge on the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean group of traitors, upon hearing the statement of the KPA Supreme Command and the news that Supreme Commander Kim Jong Un convened an urgent operation meeting on the KPA Strategic Rocket Force's performance of duty for firepower strike and examined and finally ratified its plan for firepower strike.

They said the heinous provokers who were making desperate efforts to stand against the DPRK to the end, revolving wicked designs to hurt the dignity of the supreme leadership, spiritual mainstay of the Korean nation and the most valuable life of the DPRK army and people.

The enemies are bound to meet a miserable end in face of the final battle all service personnel and people including the members of the ground, navy and air and anti-air force of the KPA, the Worker-Peasant Red Guards and the Young Red Guards are waging with a will to take a revenge upon the enemies and protect even a single stone and blade of grass of the country, they stressed, adding:

The DPRK army and people have always won victory thanks to peerlessly brilliant commanders and will clearly prove how Sungun Korea, powerful country with strategic rockets and diversified nuclear weapons that can strike at the enemies at any place, wins a final victory.

Given the ignited all-out war, the DPRK revolutionary armed forces will never miss the invaluable chance to reunify the country without fail after wiping out the aggression forces with merciless and deadly blow of preemptive attack.

The guard of honor of the Worker-Peasant Red Guards will destroy the enemies who are bluffing with numerical advantage with the strong might of militia forces of Songun Korea and death-defying spirit and firmly defend our streets and worksites as the defenders of guerrilla zone during the anti-Japanese struggle did.

The Young Red Guards will turn out in the just struggle to annihilate the U.S. imperialists and south Korean puppet traitors with high spirit to defend the country and hostility as the youngsters in the 1950s who defended the country and villages devoting themselves did.

Discharged soldiers will rejoin the KPA as those during the last Fatherland Liberation War did and turn out in the war for national reunification to destroy the hotbeds of evils as they can never revive again.

The speakers stressed that if the U.S. imperialists and south Korean warmongers ignite a nuclear war, all the people of the DPRK would never miss the golden chance and annihilate all the enemies so that even an enemy might not survive to sign the surrender document.

The meeting was followed by a mass demonstration to achieve a victory in the all-people final decisive battle against the aggressors including the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean group of traitors.
