At the meetings the statement of the Supreme Command of the KPA was read out to be followed by the speeches by the delegates from the KPA, the Worker-Peasant Red Guards, the Young Red Guards and the discharged soldiers.

The speakers said the statement of the KPA Supreme Command serves as an ultimatum to the U.S. and the south Korean puppets, a warning against the forces following the U.S. in its high-handed and arbitrary practices and a just decisive step of the DPRK which regards its sovereignty as its life.

If the U.S. imperialists recklessly move to ignite a war, the service personnel of the KPA will not miss that opportunity and inflict a pre-emptive merciless fire of annihilation upon the enemies to wipe out them and achieve the great cause of national reunification at any cost, they noted, adding:

The members of the Worker-Peasant Red Guards and the Young Red Guards will thoroughly annihilate with the tremendous might of civilian forces of Songun Korea and in the spirit of devotedly defending the country the enemies who are making a false show of power, counting on their numeric superiority.

The discharged soldiers will strike and destroy the U.S. mainland and its bases in the operational theatres in the Pacific including Hawaii and Guam and its military bases in south Korea, blow up the White House and Chongwadae, the dens of evils, and thus certainly achieve the historic cause of national reunification, they stressed.

Present at the meeting were officials of the local party and power organs and working people's organizations, service personnel of the KPA and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces, officials and other people of industrial establishments and farms and teachers and students of universities and colleges.
