Provokers Will Meet Miserable End: Rodong Sinmun
Pyongyang, March 31 (KCNA) -- The world will clearly see how the provokers, who encroach upon the sovereignty of the DPRK, meet a miserable end in the sea of fire of justice to be kindled by the army and people of the DPRK who rose up to defend its sovereignty, says Rodong Sinmun in a bylined article Sunday.

No matter how desperately the warlike forces may try to cover the Foal Eagle joint military exercises with the veil of "peace", they can never conceal the aggressive nature of the test nuclear war, the article says, and goes on:

Foal Eagle is a preliminary war and a test nuclear war as same as the Team Spirit joint military drills except its codename.

The on-going joint military drills activated the formation of strategic bombers and nuclear submarines capable of loading nuclear warheads.

The introduction of nuclear war means into the joint military drills by the U.S. imperialists is aimed to ignite a nuclear war on the Korean Peninsula.

The U.S. is blustering that it would continue threats and blackmail against the DPRK while staging nuclear war drills in south Korea and in waters around it after introducing B-52 and nuclear submarine in a bid to test the DPRK's will and dampen its resolute determination.

But the DPRK's army and people will never be frightened by such threats and blackmail.

Now that the U.S. has started open nuclear blackmail and threats, the DPRK will take military action to cope with them.

The DPRK's declaration is by no means an empty word.

The U.S. is trying to test the will of the DPRK and dampen its determination with such vicious hostile acts of nuclear blackmail, far from understanding who its rival is. It should not behave foolishly.

The Anderson air force base on Guam from which strategic bombers take lift and Japan proper and naval bases in Okinawa from where nuclear submarines are launched are within the striking distance of the DPRK's precision strike means.
