Rodong Sinmun Sunday observes in a by-lined commentary in this regard:

The above-said plan is aimed to reinforce the U.S. military domination over south Korea and lay a favorable springboard to ignite a nuclear war on the Korean Peninsula any moment.

What is ridiculous is that the U.S. is talking rubbish that the plan serves as a way of reducing the possibility of a war on the peninsula.

The plan is nothing but a dangerous scenario for igniting an all-out war, prompted by the criminal intention of the U.S. and the south Korean puppet forces to start a new nuclear war on the peninsula at any cost.

The war hysteria of the group of the puppet military gangsters has reached such phase as openly disclosing their hideous scenario to dare bring down the sacred monuments to the great Generalissimos in different parts of the DPRK.

It is needless to say that the situation has led to such catastrophe as the U.S. has zealously protected the south Korean puppet forces and instigated them to the war moves.

Option is not a monopoly of the U.S.

It is the DPRK's right to self-defense to take a countermeasure to cope with the plan now that it has become clear that the U.S. scenario for a nuclear war has reached the phase of its implementation.

If the U.S. and its lackeys ignite a war, the army and the people of the DPRK will wipe out the aggressors to the last man and raze their facilities and military bases to the ground.
