Solidarity addresses from the North Side Committee, the South Side Committee, and regional committees of the Overseas Side Committee for Implementing the June 15 Joint Declaration were introduced at the general meeting.

Kwak Tong Ui, chairman of the Japan Regional Committee, in a speech urged the south Korean present "government" to stop the disgraceful "alliance" with the U.S., get reconciled with the north and opt for implementing the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration.

This year's action program of the Japan Regional Committee was published at the general meeting.

The committee said it would wage the dynamic movement for opposing the U.S. and south Korean belligerent forces' war maneuvers, implementing the north-south joint declarations and strengthening the committee.

Then followed speeches.

An appeal to all overseas Koreans was adopted at the meeting.

It called for channeling all efforts into opposing the U.S.-south Korea reckless nuclear war maneuvers and shattering all moves for aggression.

It also called for expanding and strengthening All-Korean Committee for Implementation of June 15 Joint Declaration and discharging the role of overseas Koreans in achieving the unity of the whole nation.
