Pyongyang, April 1 (KCNA) -- Youth and students across the country are petitioning to be allowed to join or rejoin the Korean People's Army. Young workers of the Kim Jong Thae Electric Locomotive Complex evinced their resolution to come out to the outpost for a battle against the U.S., declaring: "Once a red signal flares, we will wipe out the mentally deranged enemies trumpeting about precision missile attack and the like with arms of Paektusan at a single strike." University students in Kangwon Province climbed Chol Pass and vowed to join the army in order to display courage in the sacred war for national reunification just as the soldiers did in the 1950s. Young people in the agricultural field also expressed their determination to devotedly defend their leader and annihilate enemies. Jang Su Hyon, a farmer of the township cooperative farm in Sinphyong County, had this to say after petitioning to be allowed to rejoin the army: All young people of the farm petitioned to be allowed to join or rejoin the army in hearty response to the statement of the KPA Supreme Command. The important decision made by the dear respected Kim Jong Un at an operation meeting on the KPA Strategic Rocket Force's performance of duty for firepower strike marked a turning point in the action to put an end to the history of protracted showdown with the U.S. The discharged soldiers who had fostered the courage and wisdom of each beating a hundred enemies during the period of their military service will rejoin the army, once the Supreme Commander gives an order, and conclude the confrontation with the U.S. with arms of Paektusan. Secondary school graduates across the country passionately petitioned to be allowed to serve on the forefront in order to become human fortresses and shields for devotedly protecting the headquarters of the revolution and wipe out enemies. |
