Japan Accused of Justifying Its Moves to Grab Tok Islets

Pyongyang, April 1 (KCNA) -- "A sketch of Takeshima (Tok Islets)" has been recently disclosed in Shimane Prefecture, Japan. It was believed to have been drawn by a fisherman of Japan who stayed on Tok Islets in 1928. The Japanese reactionaries are loudly asserting that it is "precious data showing Japan's effective rule over Takeshima". Minju Joson Monday says in a bylined commentary in this regard: It is a foolish act reminding one of a drowning man catching at a straw. It is evident that Japan can not prove its rule over Tok Islets in the ancient time and middle age with such a casual sketch drawn by a Japanese in 1928 in the light of scientific viewpoint. Japan regards the poor sketch as "precious data" and "treasure". This proves Japan has so poor historical evidence to back its dominium over Tok Islets. Japan is running the whole gamut of intrigues to justify its moves to seize Tok Islets but it cannot conceal its criminal acts. Japan's territorial claim to Tok Islets is not just aimed to retake the territory but it is a brigandish act to grab the part of other country in broad daylight. Japan is seriously mistaken if it thinks it can justify its moves with such sketch drawn by an individual person. The Japanese reactionaries had better behave with reason, not dreaming a foolish dream. |
