The speakers denounced the military authorities for mulling purchasing F-35 and other U.S.-made weapons by spending money collected as taxes from civilians.

They voiced opposition to the introduction of fighters of the next generation, holding that the "plan to jointly cope with the provocation of a local war" signed by the military authorities of south Korea and the U.S. recently is contrary to the international norms as it is a dangerous document for escalating a local war through the prompt involvement of U.S. forces in contingency on the Korean Peninsula.

They said the people need an army which serves the purpose of achieving co-prosperity of the nation and putting an end to the national division, not one that antagonizes the compatriots and perpetuates the division under the signboard of "security".
