She was subject to maltreatment and insult as a member of the stateless nation before the liberation of the country. She could lead a worthy life with her own land for farming only after President Kim Il Sung liberated the country.

She worked hard for the benevolent socialist country. Even after becoming pensioner, she kept herself busy making efforts to do her bit for the country's agricultural production.

She likes wild vegetables and soy-based food. She is leading an optimistic life.
