The important decision made by Kim Jong Un serves as a great declaration of his will to bring about the day of national reunification by putting an end to the history of showdown with the U.S., the statement said.

It also serves as an ultimatum to anti-reunification hostile forces including the U.S. and the south Korean puppet regime and a final decision of justice which reflects the will of the Korean people to annihilate the enemies, the statement added.

It resolutely denounced the U.S. and the south Korean puppet group of traitors for scheming to inflict a nuclear holocaust upon the Korean nation.

The ulterior purpose of the U.S. is to disarm the DPRK by employing all sorts of means and methods, realize its sinister aim to "topple the social system" in the DPRK and thus obliterate the Korean nation, an unpardonable state-sponsored terrorism.

The U.S. should stop at once its nuclear war drills and "sanctions" racket against the DPRK.

The Central Standing Committee of Chongryon calls upon the Japanese and other people in the world to support the just stance of the DPRK, condemn the illegal "resolution on sanctions" of the UN Security Council and oppose the reckless nuclear war racket of the U.S. and its allies.

The nuclear war to be forced by the U.S. will not be an issue confined to the DPRK and the U.S. only.

Officials of Chongryon and other Koreans in Japan will join the people in the homeland who rose up as one to safeguard the country's sovereignty and the supreme dignity of the nation and win victory in the great war for national reunification.
