An awarding ceremony took place at the Hall of the youth league on Wednesday.

Professorship was awarded to Ri Jong Hu and Sin Jae Yong, department heads at Kim Chaek University of Technology, Yang Yong Jip, director of an institute of the State Academy of Sciences, and Paek Chon Ho, vice-director of an institute of the academy, and two others.

Doctor's degree went to Department Heads of Kim Il Sung University Han Yong Chol and Pak Kil Man, teacher of Kim Chaek University of Technology Pak Kum Dol, teacher of the University of Sciences Ri Su Bok, Director of an institute of the State Academy of Sciences O Su Nam, Vice Section Chief at the Korea General Red-Cross Hospital Kang Hung Jun, Director of the North Phyongan Provincial Maternity Hospital Kim Hwa Suk and others and assistant professor's degree to 159 persons.
